WHAT IS ENTERPRISE EUROPE NETWORK (EEN)?

The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) helps businesses innovate and grow on an international scale. It is the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with international ambitions.

The Network is active worldwide. It brings together experts from member organisations that are renowned for their excellence in business support. EEN encompasses more than 60 member states, more than 600 business associations, and technology transfer units as contact points, offering personalised services to businesses.

ABOUT EEN TAIWAN

Taiwan joined the EEN as an international partner (INP) in 2015. Led by the International Trade Administration, EEN Taiwan is a consortium of 3 organisations: Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), and Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (TEEMA).

EEN Taiwan has profound knowledge of the local business environment and contacts for business opportunities worldwide, taking advantage of TAITRA's presence for over 50 years as Taiwan's foremost nonprofit trade-promoting organisation sponsored by the government and industry organisations. 

EEN Taiwan provides business matchmaking services for Taiwanese corporations and SMEs to enhance their access to international markets. More than 5,000 business, technology and R&D cooperation opportunities can be found in the EEN database. Aligned with the European GDPR, our service respects practices to privacy and adopts an “anonymity system,” which focuses on product features to facilitate members to demonstrate product advantages and competitiveness. EEN Taiwan provides professional consultation and tailored action plans to help our members familiarize themselves with the matchmaking process. Matchmaking on the EEN platform consists of delivering an “Expression of Interest (EOI)” and drafting a "Business Profiles (POD).”

_{4. Physical and Online Matchmaking}

EEN Taiwan and European contact points co-organize onsite/online B2B matchmaking alongside professional exhibitions in Taiwan and Europe. Leveraging the platform "b2match," registration of most networking events is free of charge. By participating in the B2B sessions, companies are free to publish their products and catalogs to increase exposure and can contact potential business partners directly in the 1:1 virtual meeting room.
